MV DELFIN II LUXURY AMAZON CRUISE
4 DAYS – 3 NIGHTS
A luxury cruise vessel fit for all in Peru’s Pacaya Samiria National Reserve
This Amazon riverboat combines traditional design and craftsmanship, with all modern comforts. There are fourteen cabins on board, all carefully designed to be of the utmost comfort, including four master suites with 180º panoramic windows and ten equally elegant suites, four of which can be interconnected to accommodate families.
As well, the Delfin II prides itself on its cuisine and service. In 2014 the boat was remodelled to include a brand new Lecture room, both ideal for presentations and also great for relaxing in its comfortable lounge areas. Those that fancy a little bit more can also unwind in the new Massage and Exercise rooms! This luxurious, first-class Amazonian cruise which sails out of Iquitos, Peru, gives you the chance to be one of a select group to visit the remote Pacaya Samiria National Reserve – the largest protected wetland reserve in the world and one of the areas of highest bio-diversity.
Huge paneled windows in the sumptuous suites provide unobstructed views of the spectacular passing scenery (the Master Suites even have 90° wrap windows), but for an even closer view of the rainforest why not try out the Delfin II’s kayaks and stand-up paddle boards, which are proving to be a new passenger favorite.
In 2014 a brand new and well equipped Lecture Room was added, equipped with a projector, handmade game tables for your enjoyment, and immense windows where you can watch pink river dolphins playfully chasing the vessel as you sail through the rainforest. Those that fancy a little bit more can also unwind in the new Massage and Exercise rooms!
This boat’s service is incredibly attentive. A mix of on-land and water-based activities give you a comprehensive experience in the wildlife-filled Pacaya Samiria National Reserve. Swimming with pink river dolphins while refreshing yourself with a beer is always a favorite. Talking of drinks, guests can help themselves to local beers and house cocktails any time they like, and even get free-flow house wine with both lunch and dinner to help you unwind.
For those with families, great news! Two of the suites can have roll-away bed put in, suitable for a child (11 years old or younger) and two pairs of suites are interconnectable.
A world of flora and fauna awaits you on either a four or five day cruise… if you can force yourself to leave the delightful surroundings of the Delfin II!
